Albuquerque, NM – Today, Attorney General Hector Balderas announced that the Office of the Attorney General is switching to a secure voice over internet protocol (VOIP) phone system beginning on November 7, 2016. This change will save New Mexico taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars. New Mexicans are asked to take note of the new phone and fax numbers for the Office of the Attorney General.
“At a time when New Mexico finds itself in fiscal crisis, it’s imperative that we work to maximize tax dollars and our new secure phone system will save New Mexicans hundreds of
thousands of dollars,” said Attorney General Hector Balderas. “With this cost-saving change comes new phone and fax numbers for Office of the Attorney General locations and we urge citizens to take note of the new numbers. Starting November 7th, New Mexicans can reach any division of the Office of the Attorney General toll free by calling 1-844-255-9210.”
