Albuquerque, NM – Tonight, New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas released the following statement regarding the Court of Appeals ruling to uphold Michael Astorga’s second degree murder conviction:
“I am pleased with the Court of Appeals’ ruling to uphold Michael Astorga’s second degree murder conviction for the killing of Candido Martinez and I commend the work of the Criminal Appeals Division of the Office of the Attorney General in fighting for justice for all the families of Michael Astorga’s victims.”
