Erica Davis-Crump to present at the Equity in Education TEDxABQED event

Albuquerque, NM – This morning, Attorney General Hector Balderas announced that Erica Davis-Crump, Special Projects Coordinator for the Community Outreach Division of the Office of the Attorney General, will speak on the importance of community wellness at TEDxABQED 2016. She will focus on the importance of the trainings she teaches to students and parents around New Mexico – cyber safety, mental health, financial literacy and violence awareness.

At TEDxABQED, 13 New Mexico speakers will share their big ideas on the pursuit of Equity in Education. But what does that mean? Over the next 4 weeks, TEDxABQED will be exploring this theme and related topics. First up: Bridging the Gaps. How can we rethink education so that all students–regardless of race, gender, socio-economic status, family education level, or mental health–achieve holistic success?
