Albuquerque, NM – Yesterday, an Albuquerque jury convicted Thomas Horn of Child Solicitation by Electronic Communication Device (child under 13) (appears for meeting). Horn
was communicating with an undercover detective posing as a 12 year-old girl. The jury deliberated for under an hour after a two day trial presented by the Office of the Attorney
General. The Office of the Attorney General presented evidence that the Defendant solicited the perceived child for sex acts online and then arranged and appeared for a meeting with the perceived child for that purpose. Thomas Horn was remanded into custody pending sentencing which will be set at a later date. Defendant is facing nine years in the Department of Corrections and lifetime sex offender registration.
