Alleged Human Trafficker arrested by the New Mexico Office of the Attorney General; Attorney General Seeks Information from the Public

Clovis, NM – On September 23, 2015, the New Mexico Office of the Attorney General Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force in conjunction with the Curry County Sheriff’s Office, the Clovis Police department and Homeland Security
Investigations, worked hand in hand to investigate and arrest Jeremy Bowerman, 36, for attempted Human Trafficking and other felony charges.

Bowerman was arrested for attempted Human Trafficking when he met with a supposed mother of a 10-year old female. Bowerman is alleged to have agreed to pay $300.00 to engage in various sexual acts with the child. Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force investigators around New Mexico have been trained and are poised to investigate persons with a prudent interest in sex with children.
