Free trainings in Albuquerque, Las Cruces and Rio Rancho

Albuquerque, NM – Today, Attorney General Hector Balderas kicked off Money Smart Week in New Mexico by announcing free trainings in Albuquerque, Las Cruces and Rio Rancho. Money Smart Week is a public awareness campaign designed to help consumers better manage their personal finances through the collaboration and coordinated effort of hundreds of organizations across the country. Partnering organizations will host their events April 23 – 30, 2016.

“We are working with our partners across the state to empower New Mexico youth, families and senior citizens to be informed consumers and to make smart financial decisions,” said Attorney General Balderas. “As someone who grew up in an impoverished community, I can relate firsthand to the great need and importance of financial literacy to help our children and families succeed. I encourage New Mexicans to take advantage of our free trainings during Smart Money Week and throughout the year.”

The Office of the Attorney General will serve as a collaborative partner and will be conducting the following free trainings across New Mexico this week:
