Albuquerque, NM – This afternoon, Attorney General Hector Balderas announced that the New Mexico Office of the Attorney General is conducting an educational workshop on “Sunshine Laws” in Estancia, New Mexico. The purpose of the workshop is to educate and assist New Mexicans regarding the importance of transparency and compliance as well as the rights of the public under New Mexico’s Sunshine Laws, the Open Meetings Act and Inspection of Public Records Act. This event is open to interested members of state and local governments, school boards, commissions, and the general public.
