ALBUQUERQUE, NM—Today, Attorney General Hector Balderas announced that his
office filed charges in Chaves County Magistrate Court, charging Brian and Tammy
Casaus with multiple felony crimes stemming from their theft from the Cattle Baron
Restaurant in Roswell. The two are charged with 28 and 24 felony counts, respectively,
including for embezzlement, money laundering, and tax fraud.
“My office is dedicated to protecting all New Mexicans from crimes that damage our
families to our business community,” said Attorney General Balderas. “We must keep
our communities safe so that every New Mexican family has an opportunity to prosper,
so I look forward to seeking justice in this case.”
