Albuquerque, NM – New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas released the following statement in response to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals denial of the Trump Administration’s request to reinstate the illegal travel ban:
“President Trump’s travel ban is unconstitutional, immoral and un-American, and I applaud the Court for enforcing the rule of law,” said Attorney General Hector Balderas. “New Mexico has welcomed hundreds of students, scholars, doctors, scientists, researchers and other lawful visaholders from countries affected by this unlawful order, and we will continue to do so.”
