Albuquerque, NM – Today, Attorney General Hector Balderas announced an investigation into
Adelante Development Center, a non-profit designed to provide employment opportunities for
members of the disability community, after allegations that the organization grossly underpaid
employees and kept the profits.
“I am disturbed that an organization tasked with helping some of New Mexico’s most vulnerable
people would intentionally take advantage of them,” said Attorney General Hector Balderas.
“My investigators are already on the case, and we will not rest until we get to the bottom of these
disturbing allegations.”
