Texas v. New Mexico and Colorado, No. 141 Original
(Rio Grande Compact Litigation)

The state of Texas filed a lawsuit in the United States Supreme Court against the states of New Mexico and Colorado alleging that New Mexico is violating the Rio Grande Compact, which governs the distribution of Rio Grande water among the three states. New Mexico denies this allegation and Attorney General Balderas has mounted a strong defense of New Mexico.
