not linked to specific website visitors rather it is anonymous aggregated statistics
that help us to improve the content of the website.
Online Forms and Alternatives
For your convenience, online complaint forms are available. These forms are
for your convenience only and if you prefer they may be downloaded, completed and
mailed to the office. If you choose to submit the forms online please note
that the complaint is treated in the same manner as if it were physically delivered
to the agency. Instructions accompany each complaint form, please read those
instructions carefully so that you understand how the information contained in the
complaint will be used.
Email and Email Subscription
If you email questions or comments to the Attorney General’s Office we will
use your email address to respond to you. If necessary, we may forward your
email to another agency for appropriate action.
We have available to the public email subscription services. When you send
a subscription request, we will request confirmation to prevent others from gratuitously
subscribing you to the service. Once verified your email address will be stored
and used to send you the requested information. The email addresses of our
subscribers are available to the Attorney General’s list administrator. Subscribers
addresses are not used for any other purpose nor is the information shared with
any other agency or third party. If you choose to unsubscribe to the service
your email address is permanently deleted from our list.
Security
While the Office of the Attorney General takes steps to safeguard the integrity
of its computer systems and networks, it is important to understand that transmissions
over the Internet are not secure. We recommend that you do not send sensitive
information, credit care or Social Security numbers, unless you are on a secure
site (characterized by “https” in your browser). If it is necessary
for you to submit such information to us please send the materials by regular mail
only.
