New Mexico Attorney General Gary King convenes the first Safe School Summit at 8am on Thursday, October 24, 2013, at the Albuquerque Embassy Suites.

AG King believes the best ideas for keeping our schools safer are developed cooperatively by parents, educators, school board members, law enforcement personnel, health workers, and community and government leaders.   The Summit will serve to create a framework for better information sharing and opening lines of communication between all stakeholders.

According to the Attorney General, “The Summit will provide us with a good perspective on what school-safety practices are working now and present some ideas on what is evolving for use in the future.”

There is no fee for the Summit, however,  we do ask that you register today for planning purposes.  Thank you for joining us to help ensure a safer learning environment for all.
