ICAC - Internet Crimes Against Children

ICAC

Attorney General Gary K. King is committed to protecting children from cyber predators through his Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit. ICAC is a multi-agency network of law enforcement personnel whose mission is to locate, track and capture Internet child sexual predators and Internet child pornographers.

The Unit has a fully equipped computer lab specifically designed to provide forensic analysis to law enforcement agencies working ICAC cases and special criminal investigations.

Although it’s a useful tool, the Internet can provide a cyber predator easy access to our children.  ICAC’s public education efforts, through the Attorney General’s Office, have provided Internet crime prevention training to citizens and youth at community meetings, schools and colleges throughout the state. ICAC protects New Mexico’s children through education, investigation and prosecution of sexual predators on the Internet.
