Price Gouging –
Price gouging usually occurs when consumers are forced to purchase a product because
circumstances do not give them an alternative. EXAMPLE: A snowstorm causes road
closures or limited travel and gasoline stations raise prices to exorbitant levels
or local motels do the same when motorists are stranded because of the storm. To
