Facebook Policy

We want to hear from you.

We encourage public commentary and welcome it on Facebook. The New Mexico Attorney General's Office staff reserves the right to moderate comments - as Facebook allows. The following types of comments will be viewed as counterproductive to this public forum and will be deleted:

  1. Comments that are threatening or abusive to the Attorney General, his family or staff, or other Facebook users.

  2. Comments that contain explicit or offensive language.

  3. Posts that attempt to dominate a comment thread through repetition or bullying.

  4. Posts that are not relevant to the work of the office or are unrelated to matters under consideration by the Attorney General's Office.

  5. Comments that are extraneous or off-topic to the section they are posted under.

We hope to foster meaningful discussion here. As such, we will block any person consistently engaging in behavior of an unproductive or abusive nature. We will update this policy as needed.

We appreciate your comments and welcome it on Facebook. To encourage healthy discussion, we ask that if you comment on The New Mexico Attorney General's Office posts, please only respond with related comments to that specific post.



Twitter Policy

We encourage public commentary and welcome it on Twitter. The New Mexico Attorney General's Office staff reserves the right to moderate tweets - as Twitter allows. The following types of comments will be viewed as counterproductive to this public forum and will be deleted:

  1. Comments that are threatening or abusive to the Attorney General, his family or staff, or other Twitter users.

  2. Comments that contain explicit or offensive language.

  3. Re-Tweets that attempt to dominate a comment thread through repetition or bullying.

  4. Re-Tweets that are not relevant to the work of the office or are unrelated to matters under consideration by the Attorney General's Office.
